How P V A R & Associates began, how it grew, and who carries it now.
It started as Jain Gupta & Associates.
The practice was established in 1990 by CA Vivek Jain and CA Pradeep Kumar Gupta, under the name Jain Gupta & Associates. It began with a small direct tax and audit practice and a straightforward proposition: take on the work that other firms found difficult, and never take a position that could not be defended on the record.
As the practice grew and further partners were admitted, the firm was renamed P V A R & Associates — a name that belonged to all of the partners rather than to two of them. Offices followed the work: Ghaziabad, then further offices in Delhi, then Jaipur, and then Golaghat in Assam. Today the firm practises from six offices across four states.
CA Vivek Jain has since stepped back from his role as a partner, and his son, CA Atishaya Jain, has been admitted to the partnership in his place. He nonetheless remains the firm's guiding counsel. The depth of knowledge he built over more than 37 years, the client relationships formed in that time, and the goodwill that came with them continue to run through the practice. It is on that foundation that the present partners work.

We are also recognised for company law matters and for indirect tax work.
Our clientele encompasses various segments of the market — software, education, chemicals, NGOs, government bodies, BPOs, pharmaceuticals, hospitality, restaurant chains, hotel chains, manufacturers, traders, gems and jewellery, real estate and a host of others.
